Art can be defined in many different ways. Art can be seen in many different views. Art can be presented in many different styles. To me art is the expression of human skill and imagination. Art shows emotion or creativity. "Art is the only way to run away without leaving home." — Twyla Tharp. This quote explains how I feel about art. When you create art you get "lost" in it and can go to a whole new place or feel a new emotion. In art I have used a few different materials and techniques. One new material I would like to work with is print making. I would like to expand on my painting and drawing techniques and I would love to experiment with any different materials. Art can be done by anyone even if you art a professional. I think my strengths in art are working with paint or other materials opposed to drawing. This is because my interest are working with new materials. The one thing I find difficult is staying on task and focusing on one thing without getting frustrated and quitting.
