Basketball Player Sketch

This is our first art project we started in our grade 12 art class. We had to chose a picture from a newspaper and re create it. I lost my first picture so I printed a similar one from google. I decided to chose a basketball picture because you can see their legs and arms and also the different proportions. In the first image I drew the geometric shapes to show the simple shapes to make up their body. In the next pictures I drew it to show the geometric shapes and I used different colors to show the difference between the bodys. In the last picture I sketched the basketball players, while using the geometric shapes as my outline. In my next post I hope to create the final sketch of the basketball players.
